After finishing my final A-level exam on the 24th June 2022 at 12:01pm exactly, I started the mad rush of catching a flight to the USA at 16:00. Luckily, traffic and airport security decided to be nice for the day and it didn’t take long before I was on the plane to Boston Logan International.

Since the age of 14, I have had my mind set on participating in Camp America once leaving school. I would’ve done it much earlier if it wasn’t for the age restrictions. I desperately waited to turn 18 and embark on my USA grand tour. And it was finally happening. For 8 weeks and 5 days, I not only explored life in an American Summer Camp, but I also explored life in the USA itself, or at least some areas, as I visited Boston, New York and Washington DC within my 3 week travel period. It was such a fantastic experience overall and I’ll be documenting it right here! With photos and thoughts throughout my journey, I hope you enjoy following along!
